Transportation

From city center

SantaPark is located 7 km from Rovaniemi city center and 2km from Rovaniemi Airport.

Santa Claus Bus is operating between city center and Santa Claus Village stopping also at SantaPark – Home Cavern of Santa Claus. You can purchase your
ticket from the driver with payment cards or cash.

Rovaniemi’s local bus number 8 operates also between city center and Santa Claus Village. More information from Rovaniemi’s public transport website.

If you are arriving with car, we offer free parking for all guests.

From Helsinki and abroad

Rovaniemi is located 800 km north of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. There are excellent road, rail, and air connections between the cities.

By air: Daily direct flights to and from Helsinki, operated by Finnair and Norwegian. In winter there are also direct flights to and from London (Gatwich and Standsted), Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Dusseldorf, Istanbul, Dublin, Brussels Charleroi, Manchester, Bristol, Milan, Amsterdam and various Charter destinations.

By car: 10-hour ride from Helsinki; the road E75 is in great condition all year round.

By train: The Finnish railway company VR operates several trains from Rovaniemi to Helsinki and other major cities in Finland. There are also night trains where you can sleep in a compartment. The train ride takes 8-12 hours.
